Quote of the Month

"When people ask me why I run, I tell them, there's not really a reason, it's just the adrenaline when you start, and the feeling
when you cross that finish line, and knowing
that you are a winner no matter what place
you got."

-Courtney Parsons

Tip of the Month

As summer begins, make sure you follow these tips to stay safe in the heat: drink plenty of water throughout the day, not just after a run; wear synthetic fibers that wick moisture away from your skin; don't go for a personal best on particularly hot, sticky days; and finally, know your limits. If you feel faint or dizzy, stop running.
